The short version
- We use your photos only to make your portraits and to check them for safety. They are deleted 30 days after upload.
- We never sell your data or use your photos and portraits to train AI models.
- We ask for an email so we can send your portrait link and receipt. You can skip it when previewing.
- Payment goes through Stripe; we don't see your card number.
- You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
1. Who is responsible
{{COMPANY}}, {{ADDRESS}}, operates pet-plus-me.com and is the data controller for the data described here. Privacy questions and requests: privacy@pet-plus-me.com.
2. What we collect
Photos you upload (people and pets), the looks you choose, and the portraits we generate from them.
Your email, if you enter it, and the recipient's name and email plus your note when you send a gift.
Order data: what you bought, when, for how much, and a Stripe reference. We do not store card numbers.
Usage data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, device type, approximate country, the ad segment and campaign you arrived from (utm parameters). We use first-party cookies for your draft, your segment and your language.
3. How we use it
To make your portraits: photos are sent to our AI image provider (Google Gemini) together with the look's prompt, and the result is stored for your private link.
To keep the service safe: uploads are checked automatically for faces or pets and for prohibited content.
To deliver and support your order: preview links, receipts, gift emails, re-rolls and refunds.
To understand and improve the funnel: aggregated analytics and, if you arrived from an ad, conversion reporting to the ad platform with a hashed email (never photos or portraits).
4. How long we keep it
Uploaded photos: 30 days after upload, then deleted automatically. Earlier on request.
Previews you didn't buy: 30 days, with the draft.
Purchased portraits: as long as needed to let you download them; at least 12 months after purchase.
Order and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
5. Who we share it with
Only providers that help us run the service, under contracts that limit what they can do with the data: Google (AI generation and moderation), Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (product analytics, proxied through our domain) and Meta (ad conversion events, hashed email only). We do not sell personal data.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, and to stop any marketing email, at any time by writing to privacy@pet-plus-me.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. We answer requests within 30 days.
7. Children
The service is for adults. Photos of minors may only be uploaded by their parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes are announced on the site.
